Limelight Forum Q2 (July 2025)

Recap our July 2025 Limelight forum

Recording and Presentation are accessible at the bottom of this page.

Our latest Limelight Quarterly Forum was packed with energy, insights, and celebrations as food banks from across the country came together to share progress, learn from one another, and get inspired about what’s next with Vivery. Here’s a quick look at the highlights:

Vivery Expansion Is Reaching More People Than Ever

We’re now proud to partner with 83 food banks, collectively covering 104 million people and 14,442 locations across the U.S. Thanks to your efforts, neighbors have completed more than 6.53 million searches on Vivery maps to find food in their communities.

New Food Banks, New Maps

We welcomed a wave of new partners in 2025, including Crossroads, East Texas, High Plains, Houston, Santa Cruz, Food Bank of the Rockies, and many more. Several have already launched their maps—way to go! Your fast onboarding ensures more neighbors can find accurate, local food access info.

Meet the New Vivery Support Center

We introduced the new Vivery Support Center, your go-to hub for help articles, video tutorials, and an AI-powered chatbot named Vivian to help users find exactly what they need.

Agency Engagement Leaderboard: Claiming Success

We celebrated food banks that reached a 100% profile claim rate, including:

  • Georgia Mountain Food Bank
  • United Food Bank
  • Redwood Empire Food Bank
  • Westmoreland Food Bank

Honorable mentions go to food banks approaching the mark—like Manna (90%) and St. Mary’s (82%)—and to milestone makers like Atlanta Community Food Bank, Feeding South Florida, and Facing Hunger Food Bank, who made big gains in just a few weeks.

  • Post webinar shoutout to the team at St. Mary's Food Bank for gaining 30+ claims (jumping to 94%) in the week after the Limelight Forum!

New Tools for Partner Engagement

To support your agency engagement efforts, we rolled out:

  • Seasonal Email Templates to help agencies stay updated and fresh
  • An improved Site Visit Checklist to streamline visits and increase profile completeness

Text Messaging: Real-Time Connection

We highlighted how agencies can use Vivery’s text messaging feature to alert neighbors to hour changes, food availability, or emergency closures—building trust and delivering timely support when it matters most.

Partner Spotlights & Best Practices

Chris Bodnar of United Food Bank shared how they reached 100% by focusing on:

  • Transparent communication
  • Aligning engagement with mission
  • Field support with one-on-one visits
  • Uploading agency photos to improve visibility

We also heard from Amy Talley of Redwood Empire Food Bank and Lydia Johnson of Georgia Mountain Food Bank, who shared great ideas like using business cards with QR codes and regular newsletter nudges to keep agency data fresh.
