How to Use the Vivery Find Food Map

Welcome to this quick training on how to use the Vivery Find Food map. This guide will walk you through the steps to efficiently use the map to find food assistance locations.

Starting Your Search

Enter your desired search area into the search bar.

Alternatively, use the Use My Location option to start a search in your exact location.

Using Filters

The map offers several filters to tailor your search:

  • Radius Filter: Adjust the radius to show results based on travel distance. Broaden for transportation access or narrow for walking.
  • Open Today: Select this to find locations open on the current day.
  • Days Open: Choose a specific day to see locations open on that day (e.g., click Wednesday for tomorrow's options).
  • More Filters: Filters that can help to narrow a search, including location features or specific program features, languages, or items offered. 

Move around the map freely by dragging or using the directional buttons at the bottom right-hand corner.

Zoom in or out while keeping your filters active.

If you move to a new area, select Redo Search in This Area to update results.

Viewing Search Results

Your search results will appear on the right-hand side, displaying:

  • Agency's name, address, distance from your location, phone number, and website (if available).
  • Directions icon for navigation assistance.
  • Phone icon to call directly if a number is listed.
  • More Information: Click to view the full profile of the agency.

Agency Profiles

Agency profiles provide detailed information:

  • Top half: Location details.
  • Lower half: Individual programs offered.

Agencies can add non-food programs for a comprehensive view.

Download individual profiles as a PDF via Download Location Profile under Take Action.

Freshness badge indicates information verified within the last 120 days.

Downloading and Translating Results

Download entire search results as a PDF using the Download Results button.

Translate the map using the language translator at the top. Note: Location names and addresses remain unchanged.

If your search generates multiple pages of results, navigate between pages at the bottom of the search results section.
