Subject line: Reminder: Update Your Summer Feeding Programs on the Find Food Map

Email Body:

As summer approaches, we want to ensure neighbors in our community can easily find and access summer feeding programs for kids and families.

If your organization offers a summer feeding program, please take a few minutes to review and update your program information in your Vivery account. Keeping your information accurate and up to date helps neighbors understand what’s available and how to participate.

Here are a few best practices to follow:

1. Activate Your Program

  • Create a new program or update an existing one.
  • Set the Program Status to “Active” while your summer feeding program is running.
  • This ensures your program is visible on the Find Food Map and searchable by neighbors.

2. Clarify Eligibility and Requirements
Help neighbors quickly understand who the program serves:

  • Audience Served: Indicate any limitations (e.g., children, families, school-affiliated participants).
  • Special Notes: List specific schools or areas served, if applicable.
  • Program Qualifications & Program Announcement: Reinforce eligibility requirements, if applicable, such as school enrollment, age groups, or residency.

3. Add Program Hours or Enrollment Information

  • If your program is open to the public, include Program Operating Hours.
  • If enrollment is required, use the custom text option to note:
“Enrollment is required. Review program qualifications to learn more.”

Providing clear and complete information ensures neighbors can confidently find the right programs and understand how to participate.

If you have any questions or need support updating your programs or you do not yet have access to your Vivery account, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Thank you for the important work you do to support our community!
