Understanding the Freshness Badge on the Find Food Map
When neighbors search for food using the Find Food map, they rely heavily on accurate, up-to-date information. This is where the Freshness Badge plays a crucial role. You'll find this badge both in the search results and when the profile is expanded. It's a small symbol with a significant impact, as it builds confidence and reduces the need for phone calls or second-guessing.
How to Keep the Freshness Badge Active
Every time an agency saves a section of their profile, the badge is refreshed for another 120 days.
The last day that the profile was updated is known as the freshness date, visible in the General Information section of a profile.
An agency doesn't need to make changes every 120 days if there's nothing to be changed.
Vivery automatically sends a reminder email before the badge expires, allowing agencies to view a landing page with all their profile's information.
Agencies can review their profile and, if everything looks correct, click the button that says "Information is Accurate."
If updates are needed, such as changes to their phone number or hours, they can click "Log In to Edit Location Details," make the necessary edits, and click Save to renew their Freshness Badge.
What to Do If the Freshness Badge Expires
If the Freshness Badge expires, perhaps due to a missed email, it's not a problem. Agencies can reactivate it anytime by:
- Logging into their profile.
- Opening any section and clicking Save.
By doing this, the Freshness Date will be updated to the current date, and the Freshness Badge will be renewed.
Importance of Maintaining the Freshness Badge
Keeping the badge active helps neighbors feel confident, builds trust in the network, and enhances the overall experience. Encourage agencies to update regularly if needed and maintain their badge. It's fast, easy, and makes a significant difference in how people find food in your community.
