Navigating and Utilizing the Change Log Feature (Video)

Learn how to use Change Log in order to stay updated with the changes made by your network

 

 

Understanding the Change Log in Vivery

The Change Log is an essential tool that helps you stay updated with the changes made by your network. By default, network admins receive an email notification each time a change is made. However, this frequency can be adjusted in your settings. We will cover how to modify these settings at the end of this guide.

Accessing the Change Log

You can find the change Log in Vivery by navigating to the left-hand side menu and selecting "Change Log." Each entry provides detailed information about:

  • Which organization, location, program, and section of the profile was updated.
  • Who made the change, the status of the change, and the date it occurred.

Viewing Detailed Change Information

If you wish to see more details about a change, such as the previous information and the updated change, follow these steps:

  1. Click the three dots on the right-hand side of the entry.
  2. Select "View Change" to load a new screen with more information.
  3. Scroll down to compare the original and new information.

Managing Change Status

You have the option to change the status of a change:

  • Mark it as "Reviewed" or "In Progress" if you need to report it to other systems.
  • Set it to "Hidden" if you need to discuss it with the agency before making it public. This will remove the change from the agency's live profile temporarily.

Understanding Expired Changes

If a change is marked as "Expired," it indicates that it is no longer the most recent update for that organization. For example, if there was a change to the service area for St. Thomas Food Pantry, and a more recent update exists, the older change will be marked as expired.

Filtering the Change Log

You can filter the Change Log by:

  • Specific organization, location, or section of the profile. For instance, to view updates to the main phone number, select that section and click "Apply."
  • Changes made by specific admin roles, such as organization admins. Select the role and click "Apply."

Exporting the Change Log

The Change Log can also be exported for further analysis or record-keeping.

Notification Settings

With Vivery, you receive notifications each time there's a change within your network. To adjust the notification frequency:

  1. Go to the top right-hand side of your screen and click on your initials.
  2. Select "Your Account" and navigate to "Notification Settings."
  3. Choose whether to receive Change Log notifications immediately, as a daily summary, or as a weekly summary.

The Change Log is a powerful tool to keep you informed about the ongoing changes in your network, ensuring you are always up to date.
